刘新民教授  (世界卫生组织传统医学顾问/宁波大学新药技术研究院首席科学家)

       刘新民教授，现为宁波大学新药技术研究院首席科学家；世界卫生组织传统医学顾问；中国实验动物学会动物模型鉴定与评价委员会主任委员、全国实验动物标准化委员会技术专家组组长；国家中医药管理局中国-巴基斯坦中医药合作中心主任；国家食药同源产业科技创新联盟副理事长；国家载人航天工程医学专家组成员；西南医科大学中国-葡萄牙中医药国际合作中心 首席科学家；巴基斯坦卡拉奇大学国际化学与生命科学院客座教授、动物行为药理中心 主任；多种国内外杂志编委；国内外多个专业学会常务理事。从事基于动物行为实验的神经精神药理实验方法和中药新药研发、航天特因环境应激损伤中药防护、药食同源产品功效评价近四十年。

       参加工作以来，先后获得国家自然科学基金、新药创制重大专项、国际合作重点课题和重点研发计划等30多项国家和省部课题。先后获得国家发明专利10余项，国家和部委奖励10多项，2022年获得阿联酋总统国际传统医学和补充替代医学奖。以第一或通讯作者发表学术论文近200篇，包括SCI论文90余篇。培养毕业硕士和博士研究生50多名。2022年，获得第二届阿联酋Sheikh Zayed总统传统医药奖(国际传统医学和补充替代医学奖)。

Prof. Xinmin LIU, Member，Expert of Advisory Panel on Traditional Medicine, WHO. Chief Scientist, Institute of Drug Discovery Technology, Ningbo University

        Prof. Liu Xinmin is currently the Chief Scientist in the Institute of Drug Discovery Technology (IDDT), Ningbo University(NBU), China, Member, Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional Medicine, World Health Organization(WHO), as well as the Chairman, Expert Committee of animal model, Chinese Laboratory Animal Association, China. He is also the consultant in drafting national policy, plan of modernization and globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Ministry of Science &Technology of China, State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.

       Prof. Liu has been working on drug discovery from medicinal plants, focusing on neuro-pharmacology, safety evaluation based on animal behavior experiments more than 30 years, more than 200 papers he has been published in the international journals related to efficacy of herbal plant on memory enhancement, anti-depression, as well as legal status and international markets of herbal products. Prof. Liu has been invited many times to attend international conference on traditional medicine as key speaker, including WHO, there are partners on herbal medicine from Portugal, Pakistan, Canada, USA, UK etc. He was awarded as an Awardee of Sheikh Zayed International Award for Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) in 2022.
