Chairman, Asian Financial Cooperation Association & Executive Chairman, Agricultural Bank of China

Mr. GU Shu holds a Ph.D in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and an Executive Director of Agricultural Bank of China since February 2021. Prior to this, Mr. GU joined ICBC and was appointed as Executive Vice President of ICBC in October 2013. Mr. GU was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Executive Director, and President of ICBC in December 2016. He concurrently serves as President of the China Banking Association, President of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, Vice President of the 8th Council of China Society for Finance and Banking, and Chairman of the Asian Financial Cooperation Association.
