Invitation to IMPROWYS-SWYS 2025

The "2025 International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS 2025) & 2025 China-Japan-Korea Steel Workshop for Young Scholars (SWYS 2025)" will be held on September 19-22, 2025, in Tangshan, China, which is organized by The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) and co-organized by North China University of Science and Technology, Northeastern University, Yanzhao Iron and Steel Laboratory and co-sponsored by Tsinghua University.

The IMPROWYS-SWYS 2025 Conference aims to bring together renowned experts and scholars from around the world in the fields of chemical and physical metallurgy. Participants will present the latest technological advancements and engage in in-depth discussions on recent achievements and challenges related to the green transformation of steel industry. We cordially invite you to join this event and look forward to welcoming you during the golden autumn—the most beautiful season in Tangshan.

History of IMPROWYS-SWYS 2025

The International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) has successfully held four sessions continuously in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023, while the China-Japan-Korea Steel Workshop for Young Scholars (SWYS) will be held for the first time in 2025.
