Timur Malikov

Mr. Timur Malikov is Head of the Representative Office of Astana International Financial Centre Authority in Beijing (China).

He holds Bachelor of International Relations from Al Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan (1996) and Bachelor of Finance from KAZGUU University in Astana, Kazakhstan (2014) and Master of Business Administration from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China (2017).

He has more than 15 years newly of working experience in various areas. This includes 4 years in the economic section of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People’s Republic of China, 6 years as Chief Representative of Kazakhstan Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna in Beijing, China. In 2018, he joints Astana International Financial Centre that is established financial unit in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, positioned as a financial and investment hub for the countries of Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
