Symposium Introduction
With the increasing global demand for reliable, low-carbon energy, the development and optimization of advanced nuclear materials are essential for enhancing the efficiency, safety, and longevity of both current and next-generation nuclear reactors. This symposium brings together leading researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss the latest advancements in nuclear materials science and technology. The symposium will cover a broad range of topics of interest to the nuclear materials community, centered around nuclear fuels, structural materials, and radiation effects in metals, ceramics, and functional materials.
