A08-Nanomaterials Synthesis and Photo/Electro-catalysis Applications

Symposium Introduction

This symposium focuses on the latest advancements in the synthesis of novel nanomaterials and their applications in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis. It covers innovative methods for controlling the structure and morphology of nanomaterials, as well as their crucial roles in energy, environmental, and synthetic processes. Topics of particular interest include photocatalytic and electrocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production, carbon dioxide reduction, nitrogen fixation, and organic synthesis, along with the exploration of the underlying catalytic mechanisms. We also welcome presentations on new nanomaterials with significant academic value or promising prospects for development, encouraging exchange and collaboration in both frontier scientific fields and interdisciplinary research.

Symposium Topics

1, Synthesis and structural modulation of novel nanomaterials.
2, Photo/Electro-catalysis Applications: water splitting by solar light, water electrolysis, Photocatalytic/electrocatalytic reduction of CO2, Photocatalytic/electrocatalytic reduction of N2, Photocatalytic/electrocatalytic organic synthesis and mechanism investigation.
3, Photothermal/thermal catalytical chemicals synthesis, photothermal sea water desalinization.
4, Novel nanomaterials and devices towards photoelectric new energy applications.
