Dr. Ji Li， Professor-level Senior Engineer and Deputy Director of the Heat Pump and Energy Storage Research Center at the China Academy of Building Research，a Certified Public Equipment Engineer, serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Green Building Low-Carbon Smart Energy Committee under the China Energy Research Society, Member of the Geothermal Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society, Member of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Energy Systems, Member of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Smart Grid User Interfaces, Member of the Geothermal Standardization Committee under the National Energy Administration, Member of the Smart Energy and Energy Conservation Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, Industry Expert of the Regional Energy Professional Committee of the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency, and Senior Expert of the Energy and Environmental Services Industry Alliance.

Dr. Jian Liu, an Associate professor at the School of Energy and Environment, Southeast University, serves as the Technical Leader of the Pre-research Project of the National Major Science and Technology Infrastructure named "Polar and Extreme Environment Simulation Experimental Facility". His research expertise spans low-grade waste heat utilization, LNG cold energy recycling technologies, and artificial regulation of extreme multi-factor coupled environments. With 47 high-quality publications (including 19 first-author and 3 corresponding-author SCI papers, 10 EI/core journal papers) and 7 authorized patents, he has led key projects such as the Jiangsu Innovation Capacity Building Program (3.1 million CNY), the National Key R&D Sub-project on low-carbon building heat sources, and the LNG Cold Energy Utilization initiative (2.1 million CNY). Recognized twice with the Outstanding Paper Award from the Chinese Journal of Refrigeration Technology (2015, 2024), he contributes as a Founding Youth Editorial Board Member, Guest Editor for Refrigerant Alternative Technologies, and Editorial Contributor to Carbon Neutrality Pathways in Refrigeration Technologies (2024). 

Ir. Chan holds a MSc Degree in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University, England; a MBA Degree fromSouthern linois University, Carbondale, USA; a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from University ofBritish Columbia, Canada; a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Finance from National University of Singapore; as wellas a Post Graduate Diploma in Design Thinking and Break Through innovation from Emeritus institute of ManagemenUSA.lr. Chan ioined ASHRAE in the 1980s as student member and is curentlv a full member of the Association. He is also the Founding President of ASHRAE Macau Chapter. Currently, he is continuing to serve as Vice President of the Chapter.

Prasun Pandey works with CLASP India. At CLASP he primarily works on cooling appliance and equipment related energy efficiency policies and market transformation programs, with a specific focus on Room Air Conditioners (RACs) and Cold Chain equipment. In the past, he has helped businesses develop and implement sustainable growth strategies. He holds a master’s degree from TERI School Of Advanced Studies, Delhi.

Prof Gao Naiping, the vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering in Tongji University, specializes in the research of building thermal physics and HVAC. He has been continuously recognized as one of China's Most Cited Researchers and has been listed among the top 2% of global scientists by Stanford University. He serves as an editorial board member for the journals Building and Environment and Energy and Buildings, as well as the associate editor of Discovery Mechanical Engineering. Professor Gao has led more than ten national-level research projects, including five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published 103 SCI-indexed journal papers and holds over 20 authorized invention patents. He has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology, the Special Prize of Shanghai Water and Ocean Science and Technology, etc.

Suxin Qian is a professor at Department of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He is a Scientific Committee Member of IIR Solid-state Cooling and Heating Working Group. His research interests include caloric cooling and advanced simulation for refrigeration and heat pump systems. To date, he has published more than 50 papers in renowned journals including Science.

Tony SONG holds a Master’s degree in HVAC from Tongji University. He is a recipient of the “Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Progress First Prize” . He has contributed to the formulation of multiple national, group, and local standards.  Prior to joining Midea Group, he served as the Owner-side Global Campus HVAC Facility Operations and Energy Management Lead at Huawei, overseeing the full lifecycle management of large-scale HVAC and automation control projects. With over a decade of experience in a lot of new construction and retrofit projects (including data center), his expertise spans planning, design, delivery, operation & maintenance.  Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to delivering customized, scenario-specific green and low-carbon solutions for all stages of building facility lifecycles. 

Fadel is a Senior Associate at CLASP, working on the Climate portfolio in Indonesia. He leads the development of new Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for water pumps, induction stoves, washing machines, and electric irons. Fadel holds a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University. His expertise lies in fostering collaboration between the government, laboratories, manufacturers, and associations for achieving more stringent appliance efficiencies.
