Photochemical technology is a zero-carbon/carbon-negative cutting-edge innovative technology of great potential. Aiming at gathering high-end talents worldwide and striving to build a global highland for photochemical technology and industry, Wuhan took the lead in fostering photochemical technology and industry by establishing Wuhan Institute of Photochemistry and Technology, and held the first international conference on photochemical technology and industry in Wuhan in 2023.

To harness cutting-edge resources in photochemistry and green manufacturing, promote the conversion of scientific and technological breakthroughs, propel industrial advancement within our city, and cultivate new quality productive forces, we intend to concurrently host the 2024 “Wu Chuangyuan” International Photochemistry and Green Manufacturing Technology Innovation Competition during the second International Conference on Photochemistry and Industry in Wuhan in October 2024.
